In the advancement of the rapid usage of the global media and MSM today, most politicians do not have much time to write books or journals to depict and highlight their issues in the main stream and social media. This is also known as paid or hired ghost writers and there is nothing wrong in doing so if their intentions is sincere in promoting their cause and public services to the people, who have elected them to office, State Assembly or Parliament. Almost all our prominent politicians, including former PMs, Ministers, Federal, State and Divisional leaders from both sides of the political divide have been doing this kind of public awareness through their books and journals. Today most of them have their blogspot column, facebook and twitter accounts, including our country's number one leader PM Najib Tun Razak and of course the controversial elite blogger former PM Tun Mahathir or Chedet column. There are many other prominent past and present political leaders from both sides of the political divide, for which I shall reserve mentioning of their names in this article.
Interesting though, I have been a guest writer and also a columnist myself from the early 1990, when I had my first desk computer, while doing national service overseas in Europe and Asia. I have had no opportunity to serve in the Arab-African countries while in my diplomatic career in the Foreign Ministry. Back in my younger days as a junior diplomat (since 1971), there were lots of issues that I could have observed in the foreign and Malaysian scenes, here and overseas.
I also had the privilege to have served our former PMs Tun Hussein, Tun Mahathir, Tun Abdullah Badawi and currently DS Najib Razak when he was the DPM (1971 until my retirement in late 1998). Even after my mandated retirement in 1998, I was fortunately to be given the opportunity to work in one of the prominent GLC, Multimedia Super Corridor (now known as Mdec). In the MSC, I had constant dealings with the former PM Tun Mahathir, who was incharge of MSC and Chairman of the MSC International Advisory Panel of Advisers. I had also dealt with some other senior and key Ministers related to the development of MSC from January 2000 until I resigned and left for New Zealand in mid 2002.
Today, after more than 15 years of my retirement from 1998, I am still actively blogging my thoughts in relating my own personal views and experiences in commenting on the current political, economic and social issues in Malaysia, even though I seldom made waves when provoking my thoughts, pro and anti establishment. I had also frequently made pro and con references to some of our notable leaders from both sides of the political divide, including Tun Mahathir, Tun Abdullah Badawi, Ku-Li, Tun Daim, the infamous Anwar Ibrahim, Khairy Jamaluddin and of course my favorite PM/Minister DS Najib Razak.
One of my favorite and controversial issue is ISA for absolute National Security (posted in September 2008). Fast forward I have written quite a lot on the gutters and antics of our political leaders and ground politicians, published in my own given name and blogsphere: MasAgungKL's Scribe and Janda Manis, but never anything under Anonymous coverage. I have also frequently posted my comments and other articles of international and national interest published in Malaysiankini, Malaysia Insider, Malaysia Today (RPK) and some other blogs including Rocky's Bru, the Mole and Datuk Kadir Jasin Scribe.
In reference to the current issues and political situation in Malaysia and the region, I shall confine my thoughts and writings to Tun Mahathir (currently embroiled with PakLah over his book, AWAKENING - TUN ABDULLAH BADAWI IN HIS YEARS OF OFFICE). The Anwar Ibrahim saga which I had be internationally implicated, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (Our Kelantan Royal Prince and a distant relative) and not forgetting the current PM Najib Tun Razak, who is now incharge and in the forefront of international, regional and national political forefront before and the aftermath of the recent 13th general election in Malaysia democratic process of governance.
The rest is history and to be reserved for some other day, including the sensational story behind the scene of the Kingmaker in highlighting PakLah's controversial book through the courtesy of Professor James Chin and political analysts Bridge Welsh. The former controversial academician is based in Australia and the later based in Singapore. For those FB friends and other who are interested in my story, just lock my name "Mustapha Ong" in the world of Google World and share my thoughts with me, both pro and con, but with absolute and acceptable journalistic etiquette, and responsibility. I dislike comments behind the "anonymous postings" but accept and tolerate constructive criticisms, which should be respectful and following the norms of good journalism in the MSM or social media, blogs, facebook and twitter accounts.

THE AFTERMATH OF MALAYSIA'S 13TH GENERAL ELECTION
ANWARISM: Anwar Ibrahim, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia during the Mahathir administration was a student activist before he was invited to join the government in 1982. Today, he is one of the most vocal and outspoken politicians and another opportunist, apart from DAP Supremo Lim Kit Siang. Anwar used to enjoy the confidence and respect of UMNO/Barisan Nasional in his prime days. Now he is the Opposition Leader leading his crusade against the legitimate BN government under prime minister Najib Tun Razak, the current 6th PM of Democratic Malaysia after the recent 13th general election. In September 1998, Anwar was disgraced and ousted by the then PM Tun Mahathir for being immorally involved in scandalous sexual acts, (not legitimate in Islamic Malaysia) an episode widely and infamously known as Sodomy I. Many innocent people were implicated in Malaysia and also abroad. I was one of those accused from Washington by the CIA Double agents in favour of overthrowing Mahathir's BN administration in the early 1998. However, I was not called to testify as a Witness by the High Court. Otherwise, I could have made millions out of my publicity for someone known in the Diplomatic Circle. I could have sued Anwar and Azmin Ali and his cronies! Not me as I fear my God Allah swt. for swearing at others who deliberately hurt their feelings and reputation. Let Allah take care of those unbelievers!
It was an historical legal battle emerging in the late 1990s and culminated in his being guilty after more than two years sensational trial. In mid 2000 Anwar was jailed for Sodomy and corruption. The rest is history but the opposition is still keeping silent and play innocent with Anwar for their political convenience until today. Nobody believe that Anwar was guilty of his wrong doings but Allah Almighty Knoweth!
But Anwar did not complete his jail term at the Sungai Buloh. He was subsequently released by former PM Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in 2004. One can only speculate that Badawi had misjudged his own political strength as a result of the overwhelming Barisan Nasional victory in 2004 general election. Thanks to Tun Abdullah. Anwar once again became a free man and was free to pursue his political ambitions to topple the BN government but had failed until the tail end of the 13th general election on 5th March 2013.
In March 2008 12th general election, Anwar through his PKR and PR loose coalition partner DAP and PAS managed to capture five States, including Penang and Selangor, the two most important states under the BN government. Anwar's political popularity was at a high end and was elected as the MP for Permatang Pauh (by default of his wife) which pave the way for Anwar to be in parliament as the Opposition Leader.
In September 2009, Anwar became overambitious. In his haste to topple the BN government and seize control of Putrajaya, (the administrative seat of the government) he enticed a number of BN MPs to join his camp. But he was unsuccessful. Instead the PR state of Perak was recaptured by BN in the most controversial move that resulted in a titanic battle between the two arch enemies. The matter was finally resolved in favor of BN, which is now legally won in the 13th general election.
The rest is history despite heavy condemnation of the BN leadership and also politically embroiled the Perak Sultan and the Palace. Sadly, the ill-will and disputes still continue to harped the current BN state administration under Chief Minister Zambry.
Currently, Anwar is again embroiled in his second Sodomy II trials after being accused of sodemnizing his aide Saiful Bukhari, which yet had taken a turn with public statements made by Saiful's father himself. There are other legal cases against Anwar, mostly defamation, in which he is directly or indirectly involved. One of the ongoing legal case that will involve Halim Saad, whose case of corrupt practice, when Anwar was the then Finance Minister is only the tip of the iceberg. I believe many heads will be rolled when the case comes up for the most financially sensational trial.
In most cases and countries, where democratic parliamentary processes are prioritized, Anwar would have been impeached or suspended from his election to parliament pending the outcome of his infamous trials. As such, to be in sync with the norms of parliamentary practice, the BN government should review the laws relating to member's privilege and immunity in the forthcoming session from 24th June 2013.
Lastly but not the least, how could Anwar justify his position as an MP when he is the object of so many legal cases against him in the Court of Law, especially relating to his ongoing Sodomy II trial of unnatural sexual assault?

YOUR 1 VOTE (ONE VOTE) COUNTS
In the interest of the nation's progressive survival, your one vote counts in the 13th general election which is to held very soon when the current parliament dissolves on 28th April, 2013. This general election will be the "mother of all elections" led by the Najib's leadership that will shape the new Malaysia towards the year 2020. Today, we have seen the political antics from both sides of the political divide and it's our choice and decision which path the nation is heading forward in the next few decades. The result will be a positive signal to the nation to progress or degrade.
"A lot of voters always cast their ballot for the candidate who seems to them to be one of the people. That means he must have the same superstitions, the same unbalanced prejudices, and the same lack of understanding of public finances that are characteristic of the majority. A better choice will be a candidate who has a closer understanding and a better education than the majority. Too much voting is based on affability rather than on ability." (WILLIAM FEATHER)
We should admit that the nation had been subject to a certain degree of political uncertainty since end of 1998 when Anwar Ibrahim was ousted as the Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister as well as UMNO Deputy President. As a result of this inevitable and unpopular decision by the former prime minister Mahathir to sack Anwar from all his political and government positions, the opposition had gathered strength at the expense of Anwar's political downfall as the imminent successor to Tun Mahathir as the PM designate. In the 2004 general election, Tun Abdullah led BN to an astonishing victory with a huge majority. However, it was a real test for Pak Lah's leadership and governance and subsequently in the 2008 general election, we won by a slim majority but lost control of the five states; Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Penang as well as failed to recapture Kelantan from PAS. The rest is history that will trickle the political scale of the next government in the coming 13th general election.
In my simple mind as a grass root politician for the last few decades, I envisaged that the opposition will always raise their fingers to condemn the good or bad governance of the BN administration under Najib's leadership since he took over the government from April 2009. The present government under Najib had performed very well in terms of economic and social developments in so many sectors of the government and private entities, that one should not deny based on our narrow political perception. We should look beyond the political scenario and appreciate what the BN government had put in placed the various commitments under the various Government Transformation Programs (GTP) that will formed the basis of our choice in giving a new mandate to the next government in power.
It is not about convincing election manifestos but the commitments and deliverable are very important to this nation towards our developed status in the year 2020. Both sides of the political divide should reduce the politics of empty promises and perception in order to move this country forward. The opposition states had proven that they are not capable of administrating their states with dynamism and with innovations, etc. If they could not deliver their promises and commitments, how could we trust them in managing the federal government and the nation?
To all my fellow Malaysians, your one vote will make the change and difference for Malaysia. The choice is absolutely yours in the wake of continuity to move this nation forward to better times ahead.

The Power of 1Malaysia's National Agenda
The 1Malaysia concept was the brainchild of Najib Tun Razak not long after he assumed the office of our 6th prime minister in March 2003. Prior to Najib's public announcement of 1Malaysia, we have never heard anyone, including Anwar and his cronies who had uttered the powerful term "1Malaysia or Satu Malaysia" and yet they claimed that it was copied from Israel or so and so around the world. What an act of sabotage and the act of absolute disloyalty to the nation and country! Shame on you Anwar as you should be a gentlemen more so as the parliamentary opposition leader to support the concept, rather than to condemn what is good for the people, nation and country. Even the United Nations had previously commented that "1Malaysia is a powerful innovative concept of the BN government under prime minister Najib Tun Razak."
As the nation is seeking a new mandate of governance, the coming 13th general election in Malaysia, will be the mother of all previous general elections. The government through SPR or the Election Commission have bowed to the pressure of the opposition by changing some of the important election processes in the interest of transparency without take side to BN or the opposition. However, the opposition is still not happy as more than 80% of what they had demanded had been incorporated into the election processes and to be tested in the coming 13th general election. What else does the opposition want in order to topple this BN government elected by the people in every five years since the nation's independence from 1957?
Malaysia does not belong to the few opposition leaders and Najib does not only belong to the Malays, but to all Malaysians, who should be given the equal right in this country. The Malays could no longer survive on the generosity of the government or they will always failed in their national goals and achievements as fellow Malaysians. Just like the Chinese and the Mamak (Malay and Indian concoction) generations who came to Malaya in rags and absolute penniless to this country but subsequently assumed economic and financial power in exchange for political power as agreed by our fore founders of Malaysia.
In the last 12th general election of 2008, the opposition swept 5 states but conceited Perak to BN after their one year of rule in office. The state of Kelantan under PAS rule for more than 22 years of governance is still poor and lacking in infrastructure development. This alone had proven that PAS the opposition in the state is not capable to manage the poorest state in Malaysia. The current situation on Selangor and Kedah is still not too encouraging under PKT and PAS respectively. However Penang under DAP had made some in road development but still relied on BN Federal government's intervention and national financial assistance to the people. DAP should not brag and claim that they had brought in foreign investments. MIDA has all the facts and figures to prove that it was BN's hard work that had attracted foreign investments into the island state of Penang and not through the effort of Lim Guan Eng and DAP.
My prediction in the results of the coming 13th general election is that BN will be up surge and will win with higher majority than in the 2008 general election. God willing, BN may even recapture Selangor and Kedah and will give a good fight in Kelantan or may even ready to form a coalition government for the East Coast State. There will not be a hung government, either way in parliament or state assembly. What we see on the internet and social websites are all totally false information and lies by the opposition and their allies in order to overthrow the current BN by equating our country to that of what had happened during the "Arab Spring." We are not the flip flop Arabs but Malaysians that love and care for the well being of this country. I wish to advise the opposition to be more responsible and do not threaten our national security due to their greed for power.

THE MALAY POLITICAL DILEMMA AFTER 12TH GENERAL ELECTION
This topic has been in my mind since the 12th general election when BN lost the four state government of Selangor, Perak, Penang and Kedah while we couldn't retain Kelantan after more than 22 years of PAS rule. I am deeply concerned over the political power of the Malays in leading this country as agreed in the Federal Constitution.
Malaysia is one of the fastest developing nation in the region due to her political and economic stability under the BN rule since the nation's independence. The country was entrusted with the power ruled by UMNO/BN for more than 55 years without any major issues. In the earliest decades of the rule by Alliance (Perikatan) the politics of yesteryear was different due to the sincere and compromised political leadership and government based on the need and aspiration of the various communities, primarily the majority Malays and the Chinese together with the Indians as well as the other minorities within the minority.
However, as time progresses and Malaysia becomes more developed, the competition and demand became more significant with the younger generation of Malaysians, who are much more liberal thinking than their generation of forefather before them. They have better education and exposure overseas which had changed their thinking and perspective of things in Malaysia. This phenomenon was seen after the 12th general election in 2008 when the ruling party became weaker under the leadership of former premier Tun Abdullah Badawi who had taken over from Tun Mahathir. I believe that when Tun Mahathir became agitated and he had to hand over the reign of governance to Pak Lah after more than 22 years at the helm. However, I believe that Tun Mahathir had made a wrong political decision as he should have handed over the power to Najib Tun Razak in 2003, but fate has it all that the latter had be entrusted with the challenges to rule Malaysia from 2009 and not in 2003. In this context, the expulsion of Anwar Ibrahim, former UMNO Deputy President and Deputy Prime Minister in September 1998, had created a wave of street demonstrations in supporting Anwar Ibrahim who was accused of being involved in the sexual scandal and other corruption charges.
As the result of Anwar's return to politics after he was released from prison in 2004 after 6 years of arrest, due to the judgment of guilt against him for the first sodomy charge, the political situation became more crucial when Anwar's PKR party had merged with DAP and PAS under the lose collation of Pakatan Rakyat in 2004. Thus begin the political crusade of the Malays that had resulted in the political dilemma of the Malays, while the Chinese gathers more support from DAP. The situation today under the rule of Najib had further aggravated due to Anwar's greed for absolute power funded by his foreign agents in order to overthrow the UMNO/BN government by street revolts and demonstrations.
Following the leadership of Najib, Anwar became more agitated and aggressive to unseat Najib and his administration from 2009 until today. In the last 2 years Najib's administration had been under siege with all kind of accusations against Najib and the UMNO/BN government. Today, racial polarization became worst as DAP gathers momentum to win Chinese support at the expense of PAS and PKR. As a result of this sudden political development, the position of MCA, Gerakan continue to and MIC became weaker while the other minority parties in BN are also seen restless for a political awakening within the collation. Under this political circumstance, we could see that racial polarization will certainly divide the nation. Today, the majority of the Chinese will support DAP politics and thus will weaken the position of the Malays and placed them in a political dilemma.
In the final political analysis, I do not think that PAS is happy or comfortable with the new emergence of DAP's super power in gathering the confidence of the Chinese voters. The Chinese is moving fast towards supporting DAP politics and they will slowly abandon MCA and Gerakan. However, is the Malays themselves still supporting UMNO and forsaking PAS which had been using the Islamic slogan in their politics to the dislike of the majority Malays? Who is the Malay Godfather in politics? It is either UMNO or PAS but certainly not PKR. In the wake of the Malay political dilemma, it is sensible for the Malays to be more united via new political engagement with PAS, while the Chinese had already favoring DAP politics. In this context, UMNO and PAS should merge in order to strengthen the political position of the Malays within the next few years.
This new political dimension will not materialize after the 13th general election expected to be held within the 1st quarter of 2013 where BN is expected to be voted back in power. I believe within the next 5 to 10 years, Malaysia will be ready for a two party political system comprising the majority Chinese supporting DAP politics while the Malay UMNO will once again merge with the PAS Malays. In other words, the Chinese Malaysians will be on one side of the political pole and the Malays on the other, while the rest of the minorities will not be marginalized. On the other hand, I do not see any danger with a two party system of politics with the leadership of the new generation in the year 2020. However, Najib should now prepare for the ground in order to change the mind set of the people as he had gathered enough Chinese and Indians to support all his transformation programs that will benefit all Malaysian within the next 5 years.

The Three Faces of Anwar Ibrahim
THE THREE FACES OF ANWAR IBRAHIM
Looking back on some of my files on Anwar Ibrahim, there have been many attempts to write about the sensational political life of Anwar Ibrahim the elected MP for Permatang Pauh and Opposition Leader in Malaysia's current Parliament. The current parliamentary sitting ends in April, 2013 under the leadership and governance of prime minister Najib Tun Razak when he took over the reign from Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the most crucial time of Malaysia's political future in April, 2009.
In this topic entitled "the three faces of Anwar Ibrahim" it is my intention to focus on Anwar's political future based on the readings of his changing faces over the last few years, from the time he was dismissed by Tun Dr. Mahathir who was also responsible to bring Anwar into the government in the late 70s. The first face of Anwar Ibrahim had been dealt with during his political formation years in heading the ABIM (Malaysian Muslim Youth Movement) which he had built up together with some of the notable leaders like Sanusi Junid and Prof. Nawawi Ghazali. Anwar is a "Fire Pig" in the Chinese zodiac and is highly ambitious though a risk taker in whatever he does as long as he gets to the final destination of his chosen career. Anwar had very high hope that he could used ABIM to neutralize his position within the UMNO leadership when he was brought into the fold of the party. However, as history dictates, Anwar had failed to garner sufficient support to wrest the powerful leadership of Tun Mahathir that had finally led to his political downfall in September 1998. The rest is history but Anwar's ambition to become the next prime minister is still glowing under the current Najib administration in the face of the coming 13th general election expected before the end of this year.
The second face of Anwar Ibrahim is the continuation of Anwar's political struggle to capture Putrajaya based on his success in helping Pakatan Rakyat in caputring Sealngor, Perak, Penang and Kedah in the 2008 general election. Perak however was short life for Pakatan due to the power struggle between DAP and PKR which was eventually recaptured by Barisan Nasional after hardly one year of Pakatan's reign.
Politically speaking Anwar had lost political ground when former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was forced to hand over the UMNO leadership and government to Najib Tun Razak in April 2009. Najib was also Anwar's contemporary in UMNO politics and I had always believe that Anwar had lost his bid for the UMNO Presidency and the coveted post of prime minister even though Najib has yet to secure his own political mandate in UMNO. In the last few years, Najib has been able to consolidate his power in UMNO and most of his friends and also political enemies within the party had rallied solidly behind Najib, including the current deputy President Muhyiddin Yassin. Politically speaking, it's really Najib's gain with the continued strong support of Tun Dr. Mahathir and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah that will end Anwars's ambition to take over the coveted position as the 7th Malaysian prime minister after PRU13.
The third face of Anwar Ibrahim will see the gradual decline of Anwar's political leadership within the Pakatan, as the anointed leader that will further suffer due to the ongoing power struggle between PKR, DAP and PAS. It is very clear that Pakatan was only a political marriage by convenience since 2008 and they have yet to prove that they had been successful in heading the state administration of Perak, Penang and Kedah. Politically, only Kelantan under the rule of PAS remains strong but it is also expected to fall into the reign of BN as UMNO is getting stronger in the Northern Eastern State. There is very little opportunity for PKR, DAP and PAS to work on a concerted political platform in their quest to capture Putrajaya or even trying to retain their rule in Selangor and Kedah, which BN is expected to recapture the two important states.
Finally, Anwar Ibrahim will remain in the lull of Malaysia's next political power under the leadership of Najib Tun Razak. However, Anwar will not see his political demise in the coming years although he is in his mid 60s and much older than Najib, his number one political opponent. On the contrary and based on Anwar's ongoing legal tussles, he may have to serve his jail terms if convicted on his Sodomy II case with Saiful Bahari and also some of the renewed corruption cases against him, that had involved the flow of large foreign political funds received from some of the notable NGOs from the Western power, US, Germany and Turkey.Anwar is the suspected prime mover of this espionage through his previous extensive networking with the foreign power when he was the former DPM and Finance Minister, especially through his CIA connection with the United States of America, which had been instrumental to overthrow the current BN government under the leadership of Najib Tun Razak, although our current bilateral relations with President Obama is expected to be stronger given the current US political situation to re-elect Obama for another term of office.

PM Najib should call for PRU13 within the next few months without further delay.
I have not been updating my own blog code-named MasAgungKL di Scribe for the last few months due to certain work commitments. However, since there had been a lot of media speculations on the date for PRU13 and Najib has been very cautious in his response to the press and gave all kinds of hints that PRU13 could be held anytime from now till April 2013. On the other hand Tun Dr Mahathir had also advised Najib and commented that Najib should complete the present 5 year term in office.I beg to disagree as PRU13 should be called as soon as possible.
However, I believe it's better for Najib to seek his own mandate and call for PRU13 within the next few months. I opined that further delay may not be to the advantage of BN but instead will give more time to the opposition to prepare for their strategy to ensure a good fight against BN.I believe the BN election machinery is already ready and SPR is also on standby, if parliament is dissolved at the end of this current session. Strategically Najib should not wait any longer and go for PRU13 in early July before the Ramadan the earliest or immediately after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration in mid August. Both windows are ideal to hold PRU13 with the good factors before Budget 2013. The budget should also seen as the government's commitment for a good and better governance, if BN is voted into power again in PRU13.PRU13 is Najib's baby and BN should ensure that we can win with a 2/3 majority in the next government in order to endorse Najib's next 5 years in office so that all the GTPs will be implemented in the next few years.
As a party supporter, I am also committed to help UMNO/BN to ensure a sterling victory for Najib and hopefully BN will recapture Selangor and Kedah. I urge all members and party workers in BN to go all out in order to defend BN rule in the national interest. Voting PR with an increased majority will be a suicide for BN which the country could ill-afford. Najib, leader of BN needs a strong mandate for him to sure that his next governance will bring the nation to the next development towards 2020.I believe Najib is a wise leader and will honour his promise to give an equitable recognition to all Malaysians under his 1Malaysia initiative.

Will 1Malaysia slogan create a new political paradigm in the 13th general election?
Many people including former premier Tun Mahathir and other senior politicians from both the political divide had voiced their scepticism against the 1Malaysia concept. Various variations were perceived according to their own interpretations, for or against the 1Malaysia initiative created by prime minister Najib Tun Razak not long after he took office in April 2009. However, there were no significant launch to spearhead the 1Malaysia concept, although there were many related programs and activities through government, private and NGO initiatives.
The real objective behind the 1Malaysia concept is to create an awareness for all Malaysians of various communities, to work and live in total harmony that will lead towards increased patriotism in the present and future generation of Malaysians irrespective of their ethnic origins. However, sadly so Malaysians are not ready to accept the reality of such patriotism even after more than 5o years of our nation's independence. Our political structure is still very much based on ethnic relationship, support and aspirations which the majority are not willing to sacrifice for sake of national interest. As such good government policies and initiatives were often taken for granted and being implemented unfairly in the eyes of patriotic Malaysians. No government legislature is capable enough to check and control these unfair and biased implementation of government projects, that only benefited those who are patronage to selected leaders of the ruling party.
In the words of J. B, Priestley, I quote: " We should behave toward our country as women behave toward the men they love. A loving wife will do anything for her husband except stop criticising and try to improve him. We should cast the same affectionate but sharp glance at our country. We should love it, but also insist upon telling it all its faults. The noisy, empty 'patriot' not the critic, is the dangerous citizen."
Prime minister Najib has his hands full as the 13th general election is to be held within the next 18 months as speculated. The component Barisan Nasional ruling party is not in good shape, as most of its major partners are in political squabble for power or tainted with corrupted leaders. BN in its present political structure is unable to attract the young professionals and educated Malaysians to join the party due to various reasons.
The Malaysian Chinese, in particular are still mistrusting the Malay leadership and their style of politics within the hierarchy of UMNO. The Malays are not ready to accept the Chinese as equal political partner or hold on to the economic supremacy of the nation. However, the Malays should not be in denial that the Chinese had never attempted to question the political power of the Malays, certain Malay and bumiputra privileges, Islam, and also the position of the YDP Agong as enshrined in the Constitution. The Chinese and the other minority of this country had never participated in large scale demonstrations or street revolution in protest against the Malay rights and certain unfair government policies.
Apart from the above mentioned political issues that had been exploited by both sides of the political divide, Najib is also confronted by many unsettled problems that may sabotage his 1Malaysia concept, government transformation plans, political, economic and social transformation that will reduce the level of polarisation of the people based on ethnic considerations rather than absolute meritocracy. Najib has also to appease some of his own political critics and those of his powerful UMNO warlords, that are advocating adverse extremism in their demands for the Malays, at the expense of the non Malays.
In the political arena, Najib has to transform the stereotyped mind set of the extremist Malays within UMNO and also check the recent upsurge of extremism, both in UMNO and also some of the major partners of Barisan Nasional, especially the mistrust of the Malays against MCA. The current leaders in MCA, GERAKAN, MIC, PPP, PBS and SUPP are no longer likened by the people, as most of these leaders are tainted with alleged corruptions, nepotism and had served beyond their time.
It is envisaged that 1Malaysia slogan will create a new political paradigm to induce a favourable political platform for BN in time for the 13th general election. Najib's administration and advisers should be courageous enough to investigate and prosecute high profile corruption cases, without fear or favour and most of all to show its seriousness and result orientated. MACC should be given unquestionable investigation authority and also to be given prosecution power at par with the Attorney General. Severe actions should be taken against the opposition leaders and members who are found blatantly abusing their political rights and freedom, in an outside parliament. The nation will survive if all Malaysians are willing to sacrifice and compromise on reasonable demands that will benefit the country on a long term basis, without any prejudice and suspect from any ethnic group.
Finally, I opined that the 13th general election will also determine the political career of Najib in restoring the fate of Barisan Nasional governance in ruling this country, which has been mauled by some many political, economic and social issues since Najib became the 6th prime minister. Najib will face the biggest challenges of his political career as he attempts to recapture the lost states from the opposition pact as well as to win back a 2/3 majority for the BN rule in the coming general election. Najib will ultimately take the blame and responsibility, should he failed to retain control of Putrajaya for the BN in the next democratically elected government.

The controversial issue of the official address "First Lady".
It is rather unfortunate that some Malaysians are ignorant of the official title of "First Lady" in the current administration, which officially refers to the wife of the serving prime minister in office. As a retired Malaysian diplomat, I am surprised that the Protocol Division in the Prime Minister's Department as well as the Foreign Ministry had failed to clarify the issue in the interest of the public. Do we expect the wife of the incumbent prime minister to justify herself that "she should be officially or formally addressed as "Malaysia's First Lady"?
I wish to recall that the controversial issue of "First Lady" was officially used by the wife of former prime minister Tun Dr. Mahathir when Tun Siti Hasmah took office as the "First Lady". For the record, nobody had queried or made any negative statement against the official title of "First Lady" at the time of Tun Siti Hasmah. Subsequently, the late wife of former PM Tun Abdullah was also addressed as "First Lady" without any criticism. However, in July, 2007 some unsound spin doctors had openly criticised Tun Jean Abdullah for the controversial use of the formal title as "First Lady".
In recent months, some unsound spin doctors had openly condemned the use of the controversial title as "First Lady" by Datin Seri Rosmah, the incumbent wife of prime minister Najib. I am non partisan but only wish to share my protocol knowledge and social etiquette, so that this issue of "First Lady" should be clarified and resolved for public interest without malice and prejudice. I HAVE ALSO HEARD VERY UNKIND REMARKS AGAINST DATIN SERI ROSMAH FOR THE USE OF THE OFFICIAL ADDRESS AS 'FIRST LADY' IN PUBLIC FUNCTIONS.
The use of the official title 'First Lady' accorded to the wife of the prime minister had been misunderstood by many officials as well as the general public. Malaysia is not a republic like Singapore, Indonesia, USA and some other countries, where the "First Lady" is the wife of the incumbent President in office. In Malaysia, "The First Lady" is the official title of the prime minister's wife, in terms of protocol and etiquette to complement the official status of the Rt Honorable Prime Minister.
Protocol dictates that the wife of the His Majesty YDP Agong is officially addressed as "Her Majesty Permaisuri Agong" and not as"The First Lady" which may have been misunderstood by the public, including some spin doctors. Her Majesty Permaisuri Agong takes precedence over 'The First Lady' in all official and unofficial functions, both locally as well as internationally.
Needless to say, there is nothing wrong or suspicious about the role and the use of the official address of "The First Lady" wife of the prime minister. However, it would be the right protocol and etiquette to officially addressed the wife of the prime minister as "The First Lady or our First Lady" in the presence of foreign guests and dignitaries as a formal official respect to our PM's wife. However, it may not be appropriate to address PM's wife as "The First Lady" in local social functions or even at wedding receptions.
I believe all our former "First Lady" like Tun Siti Hasmah and Tun Jean Abdullah as well as currently Datin Seri Rosmah will not fuss over such a trivial protocol issue, that had never affected their official position as the wife of the Malaysian prime minister and Head of Government.

The battle of wits between Penang Chief Minister and State Development Officer
The recent media outburst between Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and Nik Ali, the State Development Officer had been highlighted in the last few weeks. Unfortunately, the issue is getting juicy and certainly needs to be resolved properly in the public interest. I hope both parties involved the Federal and State authority should the issues professionally, without fear or favour. As I see it after having analysed the issues raised by Guan Eng and his sparring partner Nik Ali, the matter had been politicised by some concerned penang political warlords from both the political divide. I wonder who actually is telling the truth of the issues, DAP or UMNO?
The Sun reported today that KSN Sidek Hassan clears the air and ironically it is about "the chair issue" that had resulted in the recent flare-up. Lim Guan Eng said it was a non issue concocted by certain individuals to discredit him in order to divert public attention on the scandalous issues that had involved certain state projects that are funded by the Federal government through the office of the SDO.
As reported by Guan Eng, he would not have stood so low in his capacity as a Chief Minister to fuss over a protocol issue, when he was late for an official function in last October and having his chair removed in the first roll of VVIP before his arrival. I believe Guan Eng is the least protocol conscious politician around, and said that he did not make a big deal about it and could be seated somwhere at the back. KSN probably was in a dilemma as Guan Eng had no opportunity to brief him on th real issues that flared up between himself and Nik Ali. I believe the administrative issues should have been handled professionally between the Chief Minister and the SDO authority, even before the intervention of the prime minister himself as well as the KSN.
In conclusion, the following issues raised by the Chief Minister are of public interest, namely the sand theft in Balik Papan, the botanical gardens arches that had been declared unsafe and resulted in the losses of RM150,000 should not be ignored. Under any circumstances, the Chief Minister has the right be involved in the administrative process of the State government and the local authorities within the approved laws and regulations. It is no longer seen as a minor spat between two powerful individuals in their battle of the wits, in order to justify their respective authority but without the political will to resolve the more important issues. Senior civil servants should not be over zealous or challenge the state authority under the administration of the chief Minister, that may affect the political scenario of Penang in the coming PRU13. I believe the DAP will try everything possible to retain it's supreme political base in Penang and BN will continue to destablise the administration of Penang in order to recapture the state in the next election.

The plight of foreign spouses in Malaysia
Malaysia is a wonderful country to earn a living and also to live comfortably in comparison to most other countries in the region. The nation's security and economic stability provide an ideal environment for many emigrants to enter the country, either legally or illegally through syndicated human trafficking activities that the authority has discovered recently. Although the government does not have an accurate statistics on the actual number of illegal immigrants, it is believe to be in the region of more than 2.5 million people. It is an indirect human capital asset to the government which also provide a reasonable economic impact to the nation's financial resources.
In post independent Malaysia, the issue of citizenship and domiciled permanent residence are being regulated by the provisions as stipulated in the Federal Constitution. However, in the post 1957 era after independence, various steps were taken by the government in approving any outstanding citizenship applications as guaranteed by the Constitution. According to the Constitution, all persons born in 1957 are automatically citizens of Malaysia.
Today, Malaysia like any other countries faces global challenges in the intervention of human rights and transmigration issues as we live beyond the borders of our neighbors. The world is becoming smaller through the rapid and efficiency in communications and ICT global networking. Malaysians travel worldwide to seek better business and professional opportunities as well as in furthering their quest for education excellence. Thousands of Malaysians of all ethnic origin, Chinese, Malays, Indians and others are living, working and studying overseas around the world. The United States of America, England, Canada, Australia and New Zealand top the list of preferred countries for Malaysians in seeking new opportunities. Over the last few decades, thousand of Malaysians decided to adopt foreign citizenship or stayed on as permanent resident.
As a result of the above global integration, intermarriages became a matrimonial trend and resulted in the increase of foreign spouses on their return to Malaysia. It is neither a choice nor preference that these patriotic Malaysians returned to their homeland in order to be with their loved ones and extended families. The majority of these new bred of Malaysians with international exposure are young professionals. Some are also married to foreign spouses who are professionals that may enhance our human capital development for the nation.
It is hope that the government will consider seriously the plight of foreign spouses who are required to apply and obtain their permanent residence. Over and above the security clearance requirements for the consideration of a permanent resident, the government should review the bureaucratic application procedures. In most developed countries, foreign spouses are allowed to seek employment on the basis of work permit while waiting for the outcome of their PR application.
Malaysians who are married to foreign spouses should be given an equal opportunity to enjoy the same social benefits like all other citizens. It is a positive move by the Home Ministry to consider children who are born overseas of mixed Malaysian and foreign parentage, are now considered as citizen upon their birth registration with the Malaysian Embassy or High Commission. Malaysia is now on the right track to resolve our transmigration issues in line with international practice and convention.

Malaysians are encouraged to learn Mandarin and Tamil
In the spirit of 1Malaysia, I support the call made by DPM Muhyiddin that the teaching of Mandarin and Tamil should be made available in all national schools. There is no need for the government to study the proposal that will go a long way to create racial unity and understanding of our ethnic cultures at the academic level. Comparatively speaking there are more non-Malays who can speak and write bahasa Malaysia than Malays who really bothers to learn Mandarin, which is also widely spoken in this country. We are proud to see non-Malay news presenters in bahasa Malaysia over our TV networks.
The majority of Malaysians today are born and bred in this country, and thus they are not "pendatang" or immigrants from other countries. Malaysia is our homeland and the nation building should be our common goal to bring this nation to the next level of development. As the prime minister had also reminded us that the ultimate success of this country depends on the undivided loyalty and support from the Malays, Chinese, Indians and others to move Malaysia forward in line with vision 2020 and beyond.
The present generation of young Malaysians will be the prime shakers of the future if our thinking reflects on the theme of 1Malaysia and 1nation in line with the inspiration of our current political leadership and BN government under prime minister Najib Tun Razak. We do not need opposition that are not contributing to our nation building, though at the same time we continue to demand a more transparent and responsible government for the benefit of our people. The government needs to do more in order to seriously combat corruptions and bring to trials those who had committed such crimes and immoral activities without fear or favour. Thus MACC should be a truly independent entity, with the power to investigate and prosecute corruption cases without any interference from the executive power of the government.

The two faces of Anwar Ibrahim
Anwar Ibrahim, the former deputy prime minister of Malaysia during the Mahathir administration was a student activist before he was invited to join the government in 1982. Today, he is still one of the most vocal and outspoken politician who had enjoyed the privilege and confidence of the Barisan Nasional government and currently the opposition leader in parliament.
In September 1998, Anwar was ousted in disgrace by the then prime minister Dr Mahathir for being immorally involved in scandalous sexual acts in the infamous sodomy I. It was a historical legal battle that had emerged from the late 90s until he was found guilty after more than two years of sensational trial. In mid year 2000, Anwar was found guilty and subsequently jailed.
Anwar did not overstay his term in sungai buloh and was released by former prime minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in 2005 0r 2006. One could only speculate that the then prime minister had misjudged his political strength as a result of the overwhelming Barisan National victory in the 2004 general election to release Anwar. Anwar became a free man to once again pursue his political ambition to topple the Barisan Nasional government.
In the 2008 March general election, Anwar through his PKR and PR coalition managed to capture five states, including Penang and Selangor, the two important states under the BN government. Anwar's political sentiments were high and he was elected as the MP for Permatang Pauh which voted him as the Opposition leader in parliament. In September 2009, Anwar became over ambition and in his attempts to topple the BN government and move on to Putrajaya, he had enticed a number of Barisan Nasional MPs to join his opposition camp, but was unsuccessful. On the contrary, the PR controlled state of Perak was recaptured by BN in a most controversial move with a number of ensuing legal battle between BN and the dethroned PR government. The matter was finally resolved in favour of Barisan Nasional as the legal state government of Perak. The rest is history though the condemnation against the BN leadership and the Sultan of Perak is still ongoing even when the State Assembly was legally convened according to convention.
Currently, Anwar is still being embroiled with his second sensational defence case in sodomy II. Apart from the sexual case involving his own aide Saiful, there are also some other cases of defamation, etc in which Anwar is directly or indirectly involved. Anwar is now facing a series of trials and one wonders if he could live in peace and settle his own personal problems. He has no time for his constitutional duties as the MP for Permatang Pauh and yet he is being retained as the opposition leader. In most democratic parliamentary practice, Anwar could have been impeached or suspended from parliament pending the outcome of his ongoing trials. In accordance with parliamentary ethics, the government should review the parliamentary laws relating to member's privilege and immunity. How can Anwar justify his position as a Member of Parliament when he is being implicated by serious allegations of unnatural sexual assaults in the previous sodomy I and currently in sodomy II.
I wish that all Malaysians would like to believe that all that had happened in sodomy I & II in which Anwar had been accused was all fabricated or conspiracy acts to end Anwar's political career. I think it is a long and up hill legal battle for Anwar to clear his name and also to restore his political creditability, although nobody is guilty until proven otherwise. Good luck to you Anwar and let Allah be the first and last witness in your actions. You can fool us one time but not all the time. Hope to see you again in the coming PRU13.
Post blogging sydrome
I NOW REALISE THAT HAVING MY OWN BLOG IS EXCITING AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT UPDATING IT SINCE MY LAST POSTINGS IN JULY 2008. TIME FLIES ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT BEEN JOTTING MY OWN THOUGHTS. IN FACT, THERE WERE SO MANY ISSUES THAT WOULD HAVE PROMPTED ME TO POST THEM IN MASAGUNGKL D' SCRIBE. HOWEVER, IT WAS NOT TOTAL HIBERNATION BECAUSE I HAD FREQUENTLY BLOGGED UNDER THE COURTESY OF ROCKY'S BRU, DATUK ABDUL KADIR JASIN SCRIBE AND OCCASIONALLY IN MALAYSIAN INSIDER.
LOOKING BACK, I DID NOT GO INTO HIBERNATION OR NEITHER JUST IGNORED WHAT'S GOING ON IN THIS MAD MAD WORLD. MY OWN COUNTRY MALAYSIA TOO IS NOT LACKING IN SENSATIONAL NEWS FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS, ESPECIALLY PRE AND POST MARCH GENERAL ELECTION OF 2008. IN POLITICAL TERM, IT WAS A DISASTER FOR BARISAN NASIONAL DURING THE REIGN OF FORMER PREMIER TUN ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI, THE NATION'S 5TH PRIME MINISTER.
PAK LAH WAS A NICE GUY AND A KIND MAN TOO SO TO SPEAK. HIS DOWNFALL WAS NOT ONLY DUE TO THE OVER EXPOSED KHAIRY JAMALUDDIN, HIS SON-IN-LAW BUT HE HAD FAILED IN HIS ATTEMPTS TO MANAGE THE COUNTRY ON AN UPWARD SWING. MANY THINGS WENT WRONG AND CERTAIN ISSUES BECAME HOT POTATOES WHICH HAD ACCELERATED HIS DOWNFALL THAT HAD CAUSED HIS PREMIERSHIP. HIS PREDECESSOR TUN MAHATHIR WAS CONSTANTLY EXPOSING HIS WEAKNESS AND CONTINUE TO LASH AT HIM FOR ALL HIS FAULTS IN POLITICS, ECONOMICS AND FINANCIAL ISSUES.
FINALLY, PAK LAH COULD NOT WITHSTAND THE PRESSURE FOR HIM TO STEP DOWN FROM HIS COVETED POSITION AS THE FLIP-FLOP PRIME MINISTER IN APRIL 2009. HE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO FINALLY HANDED OVER THE HOT SEAT TO HIS DPM DATO' SRI NAJIB TUN RAZAK.
IT WAS A NEW MALAYSIAN CHAPTER FOR THE NATION.EVERYONE HAD HIGH HOPES TO WELCOME NAJIB AS THE NATION'S 6TH PRIME MINISTER. THIS CHANGE OF POLITICAL AND GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP HAD BEEN LONG OVERDUE AND THE PEOPLE'S EXPECTATION FOR NAJIB TO PERFORM WELL WITH MIRACLES WAS ON EVERYONE'S ASPIRATION.
LET ME STOP AT THIS POINT AS NAJIB STEPPED PROUDLY INTO THE PRIME MINISTER'S WEST WING OFFICE IN PUTRAJAYA ON 3RD APRIL 2009. I WILL CONTINUE WITH THE POLITICAL JOURNEY OF NAJIB AND HIS TEAM TO LEAD THE NATION INTO THE SECOND CHAPTER OF THE UNFINISHED TERM OF BARISAN NASIONAL ADMINISTRATION IN MID TERM AFTER THE DISMAY PERFORMANCE OF BN IN THE MARCH 2008 GENERAL ELECTION. MORE TO BLOG IN MY NEXT EPISODE ON NAJIB'S AGENDA TO TURN THE COUNTRY AROUND WITH HIS NEW IDEALS AS PROMISED IN HIS 1MALAYSIA SLOGAN.

UMNO AND PAS WILL NEVER AGREE ON A COMMON POLITICAL IDEALOGY
I am not optimistic with the latest approach by UMNO to reach out to PAS on a common political ideology through the concept of "muzakarah". This initiative is not the first time as UMNO had tried in the past to entice PAS into a joint political venture, on every general election in the past but nothing happens. Do you sincerely think that Tok Guru will trust the UMNO warlords in Kelantan? PAS has bigger political agenda to create an Islamic identity on its own, but will not succeed if the other sleeping partners, PKR and DAP are not sincere in their political alliance with PAS. It's a political illusion and based on a marriage of convenience.
UMNO will never understand PAS and how can we believe that the proposal for a "muzakarah"will benefit both parties. Speaking from a non Malay persepctive, the Malays in UMNO are materialistic and tend to adopt the western values especially the younger generation. They dance and wine to western music and prefer using forks and spoons rather than eating with their fingers like their forefathers. This is the reality of the Malay modern urban culture and most of them will not feel comfortable with the kampung environment whenever they accompany their parents back to the village. The young ones will look for hotel accommodation.
UMNO political strategy is based on capitalism and materialism whereas PAS is more concern of the possessing the good deeds in this world and prepare for akhirat. UMNO leaders and their senior politicians, especially head of divisions are "bodoh sembong"and egoistic. PAS leaders are simple and easily approachable without much protocol.
However, the concept of "muzakarah"can be viewed positively in order to unite the Malays which is essential to better future political understanding between UMNO and PAS without any compromise to compete with each other's political idealogy. I do not see the fear of the Chinese, Indian and the other minority Malaysians will be suspicious of the plan to unite the Malays that will result in reducing the political polorisation among the Malays. If the Malays stop fighting against each other in order to achieve political leadership, there will be more peace and stability in this country.
As a point of reference, we should not be in a state of denial that Anwar Ibrahim in his quest for political power and his dreams to be the next prime minister, is destroying Malay unity and destablise the political and economic situation of the country. Anwar's influence through his street demonstrations and political illusion to lie and bluff the people had gone beyond control due to the current weak political and management leadership. Generally the people are suffering and the local Chinese tycoons are shifting their investments overseas.
The concept of "muzakarah"can only be realised if both the Malays in UMNO and PAS are sincere in their efforts, otherwise it's a waste of time or remain an empty slogan. "omong-omong kosong aje". Malaysian unity can only be achieved through racial integration in our political and social system with the assurance that the non-malays will not be marginalised.

Anwar has no political and religious principle so keep on lying and may ALLAH be his only witness.
Today, I'll raise two relevant points of deliberation based on Anwar's open challenge to the government as well as all those who had tracked his diplomatics runs in the United States from the time when he was appointed as the DPM/Finance Minister in the cabinet after the 1994 general election. However, the good citizens of Malaysia have already known that Tun Dr Mahathir, the then prime minister of over 22 years of rule, did the biggest political blunder in his life by having appointed to the financial cabinet post. Tun Dr Mahathir had since regretted to the nation, that appointing Anwar as the DPM/Finance Minister was in a big mistake.
Anwar as the DPM then, should not have been appointed as the Finance Minister, which was one of the two most important cabinet positions, the other being Minister of Home Affairs. The finance portfolio is traditionally a trusted and worthy post, powerful in terms of appropriation of development budget and fund allocations based on patronage through political connections with absolute loyalty and support to UMNO and those senior politicians in ruling government. There were accessive reports of massive corruptions and abuse of power by the incummbent minister and his cronnies in order to maintain political leverage for party positions, from UMNO divisional and State levels as well as those aligned to the coveted Supreme Council members.
Malaysia was an active and supportive member of the powerful IMF/Word Bank in the early years Anwar Ibrahim was disgrace and sacked from Mahathir's cabinet in September 1998 and put on trial for the unethical wrongs and acts of accused sodomy episodes, which spearheaded the Anwarsaga crisis until today.
Hence, the people, the nation and the whole country are suffering now under the international spotlight with all kinds of conspiracy that the Anwar and his allies in Pakatan Rakyat can lay their fingers on everyone, in order for him to blame the PM, DPM, Home and National Security Minister, the police as well as those senior civil servants who are the hears and eyes of the current administration. In the process, many innocent people had been implicated in Anwar plot to overthrow the BN government, previously under Mahathir, now Pak Lah and eventually to prevent Najib from taking over as the next PM, as speculated to in December or early 2009.
The politically shrewd Anwar had misused his position as one of the most powerful Finance Minister of Malaysia, who had very strong and personal linkage to the US administration for a number of years, and managed to cultivate a strong and trusted alliance with the US senior officials, both in the government as well a few key Congressmen in the Capitol. Anwar and his boys had all kind of personal or official deals in Washington, New York and Hong Kong, linked to the monetary supremacy through IMF/World Bank financial entities. Subsequently, Anwar was nominated to chair certain high power development committees both in IMF/World Bank, with authority and easy access to the international funds.
Based on the above conclusion, given Anwar' s exemplary and extentive financial connections in the past and also the period after his release from Sungei Buloh, Anwar now demands proof that he is not a US snitch. There is a Chinese saying that "those who tell lies will keep on lying until the cows come down from heaven". Anwar is one of the rare muslim specimens who will continue to lie and blackmail others, including all those innocent beings, no matter what happen in order to meet his ambition and target in life.
Anwar thinks that he is powerful enough to destroy this beautiful nation with his lies, drama and his stunt conspiracies one after another. Don't worry Malaysia is not a banana republic to be bullied by the United States of America, who should clean up their own backyard instead of being diplomatically nosy and destroy the whole world through their CIA operations.
Do all Malaysians now believe that the government through our agents overseas do not have any documentary proof of Anwar's unethical dealings with USA in order to sell this country, which does not only belong to the Malays, but also to all rightful citizens of this democratic country????????????. My conclusion is Anwar lies and he can't be bothered even if the government pronouced him guilty and throw him back to another 20 years jail term. It sounds cruel in a way, but nobody is above the law and more so we have just revamped the judiciary system, and if Anwar is legally committed of his own criminal acts, then his political career will be distinguised for good until his last day of judgement on earth. Malaysia will be in peace again.
On the question of Anwar swearing upon the holy Al Quran, it is pointless to challenge Anwar because for what he had done in the few decades of his talented life from his student days until now, he had proven over time and again that he is not afraid of the unseen God. Being a muslim, Anwar has already committed another sin by having demanded that "he will only swear upon the Al Quran in order to indemnify his innocence under certain stipulated conditions in accordance with his own personal belief or rather [hadith] in the Islamic term". Don't play God Anwar and surrender yourself and devotion to Allah swt. before it is too late. I suggest that Anwar and his whole family members, including his son-in-law who works in USA, to swear upon the Holy Book in the National Mosque, to be witnessed by the King and all cabinet ministers and Members of Parliament.
